The Season Ahead...

Since beginning our CSA program in 2010, it has been a wonderful success for both our farm and our community.  The CSA has given us a closer connection to our customers and provided us with a more secure market for our produce.  In turn, it has provided our CSA members with a great discount on fresh local produce and a very tangible opportunity to understand where their food comes from and how it is grown. 

As we move into another growing season we have some exciting new changes in store for our CSA program that will enable us to serve our customers even better.

Starting in 2013, we will be merging our CSA program with our Market Share Program to provide our customers with the most flexibility and choice.  We have been running a Market Share Program for many years at the farmers' markets we attend with great success.  It works similarly to the traditional CSA model where customers purchase a share in advance and then pick up their produce weekly throughout the harvest season.  Market Share customers receive a discount for credit that they purchase then use that credit any time they choose for whatever items they like.  This shift in our CSA program has been stimulated by feedback we have received from our CSA customers over the years and also by the purchase of a new retail farm stand located in South Deerfield that we will be operating 7 days a week starting this spring.  Our Market Share customers will be able to use their credit at our farm store any time they like or at any of the farmers markets' we attend.

We are very excited about this new direction for our CSA and believe it will continue to strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship the CSA has established between the farm and our community.  For more information, please see the links below:
